The hard life of Nenets people in the cold siberian winter (Yamal Peninsula, east Siberia, polar artic circle). Nenets people are reindeer herders and they are among one of the population living in the most extreme conditions. Their winters reach temperature up to -50 °C with strong wind and snow storms while their summers are very hot and humid. Reindeers are their main source and they graze them around a wide area moving their camps every 2/3 days. We had the chance to experience their winter, their hospitality and living together with them in chums (tents made with reindeer skin).
